Capabilities

We have upgraded induction systems for over 40 years, delivering mill-duty equipment with expertise in advanced processes and materials engineering.

What we bring to the line

From design review to a coil on your floor

Heating process simulation

We review existing designs on any induction equipment with heating process simulations, so a rebuild is an opportunity to correct the design rather than reproduce it.

PROFILER software

Our exclusive PROFILER software evaluates your existing line and provides alternative coil designs for any O.E.M.'s system, regardless of age. No legacy charges.

Materials and process engineering

Refractory selection, winding insulation, brass anchoring and high-temperature plate upgrades specified for the duty cycle the coil actually sees.

Coil rebuilding

All styles and all manufacturers' designs, worldwide — solenoidal, angle or molded frame, fiber housing, channel, oval, cast block and replaceable liner.

Heat treating and melting

MIQ inductors, fabricated and machined heat-treat coils, annealing, tempering and stress-relieving coils, coreless melting furnace coils and transformer windings.

Bus, rails and replacement parts

Hot Inconel rails, ceramic-coated rails, cables and interconnection bus, quick-change coil and bus upgrades, and replacement parts kept to OEM fit.

Design review

PROFILER on your line

PROFILER models the heating line you already run, so the alternatives we put in front of you are measured against your part mix rather than a catalogue.

How a rebuild runs

A straightforward path

1. Tell us what you run

Make, model and part size range. A spec or a drawing helps, but the nameplate and a photo are enough to start.

2. We review the design

Process simulation against your part mix and throughput, with alternatives where the original design is the limit.

3. Rebuild and upgrade

The coil is rebuilt at the service center nearest you, with the upgrades you approve built into the pour.

4. Back on the heating line

Alignment pins and quick-change bus details make the swap fast, so the line comes back up on schedule.
